Nvidia is having a bit of trouble selling its Tegra 4 mobile chipset, since it faces intense competition from Qualcomm. Back in January we heard that the company had a rather unique plan to make things better: develop and build devices itself, then offer them to regional companies which can sell them under their own brands (think Lava, Micromax, the likes). So, to be clear – this would have meant Nvidia did the design and development of the devices, but it wouldn't have sold them under its own brand. Rather, you'd see the same design sold in different parts of the world by different smaller players in the mobile space.
