5.75 mm Vivo X3 is the new world's thinnest smartphone, launches in China for $408

Ladies and gentlemen, it's happened again. There's a new “world's thinnest smartphone” in town, and this time around it's the Vivo X3 by Chinese company BBK. This takes the crown from the Huawei Ascend P6, but isn't likely to keep it for long, as the often talked about Umeox X5 is just around the corner (and will probably be unveiled in early September). Still, a record is a record even if it only holds for a few weeks. The Vivo X3′s blue version is 5.75 mm thin. That compares favorably to the Ascend P6′s 6.18 thickness. For some reason, the white Vivo X3 is 5.95 mm thin, though.
