Google has announced Android 4.3 and is currently in the process of rolling out the update to its Nexus devices. While the HTC One Google Play Edition may be running stock(ish) Android, it's upgrade will not be coming today. Google may be selling the phone to its customers directly through the Google Play store, but software updates will be pushed out to the phone from HTC. Google did the Android 4.3 update for the HTC One Google Play Edition would be made available “soon” but they did not say when HTC received the final software build or how long the turnaround process is expected to take.
