While Sony might have unveiled the PlayStation 4 earlier this year, what many gamers are probably wondering is when exactly will the console be released. Well rumors have suggested that Sony will announce a release date during Gamescom and Sony's confirmation of a 20th August press conference seems to confirm that, and thanks to a recent post on the official Sony PlayStation blog, the company states that during the event, "release plans for PlayStation 4" is expected to be shared. The company also states that there will be updates provided for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita.
