The Nexus 7 release date for the UK saga is finally over. In reporting on the new generation tablet's launch window, so far we've had to rely on the much-changing listings from just one particular UK online retailer (since it was the only one to actually say anything about when the tablet would become available). So up until now we've had August 29, then August 28, and then August 24 as possibilities. Today though official confirmation of the release date (and pricing) for the new Nexus 7 comes straight from Asus.
