Announced by T-Mobile USA last week without a proper launch date attached to it, the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G will be finally released on September 19. The new handset will cost $150 on contract, after a $50 mail-in rebate. That's the same price you have to pay for T-Mobile's older Samsung Galaxy S II, which has relatively similar specs, but lacks the sliding QWERTY keyboard of the Relay.
The Galaxy S Relay 4G will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich from day one. It features a 4 inch WVGA display, HSPA+ (42Mbps), Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and MicroSD card support.
