The Asus Padfone 2 will get unveiled on October 16, at two simultaneous events scheduled to take place in Milan, Italy, and Taipei, Taiwan. The Padfone 2 will obviously be the successor to the original Padfone, that was reintroduced at this year's MWC in February, only to then face some pretty serious supply issues. The original Padfone still isn't shipping in great quantities throughout the world, so a successor, though early, may not be a bad idea at this point.
