Google Play offers carrier billing for books, music and movies on select carriers

If you don't own a credit card or if you're paranoid about having it stolen while making online purchases, chances are the thought of having direct carrier billing for your purchases on your smartphone/tablet sounds like a great idea. For those unfamiliar, direct carrier billing is where the purchases you make for apps, services, music, videos, etc on your mobile device will be charged to your phone bill as opposed to your credit card. The drawback to this system is that it could lead to bill shock at the end of the month.
