Vodafone has unveiled a new affordable Android smartphone that's being sold under its own brand. Called Vodafone Smart II, the device comes as the successor to the Smart 858 (launched last year with Android 2.2 Froyo on board). Probably manufactured by Huawei, the Vodafone Smart II runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and features: a 3.2 inch HVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA video recording, 150MB of internal memory, and a 2GB MicroSD card in the box.
