It is an unjust world we live in. There are a number of cars on sale that we wouldn't be upset to see disappear. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is certainly not one of those cars. With its absurd gull-wing doors and its wonderful, ridiculous, powerful 6.2-liter, AMG V8, it remains one of the most exciting cars on sale today, despite having hit the US market back in 2010.
But because life isn't fair, Mercedes will be announcing at next week's Los Angeles Auto Show that the SLS AMG will be put out to pasture.
