Teddy Ruxpin (animatronic toy from the 80′s) always creeped me out with his freaky moving eyes and mouth. I never had one but I wonder how many kids were traumatized by that battery operated story telling bear. Fast forward 27 years and we now have Ubooly (say it like oo-boo-lee), an orange marsupial that can hold your iPhone or iPod touch. When the iPhone isn't inserted, your kids will have a regular plush toy, but with the device inserted, the screen becomes Ubooly's face. The toy uses voice interaction to read stories, tell jokes and play games with 4-9yr olds. You can purchase your own Ubooly cuddly ball of fur for $29.95.
