More troubling news for Research In Motion (RIMM) as the company continues to struggle ahead of the launch of its next-generation BlackBerry 10 platform: Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. has chosen to drop RIM as its smartphone supplier. Bloomberg reports that the U.S. government consultant with a staff of roughly 25,000 will instead switch to iPhones and Android-powered smartphones. The switch was confirmed by Booz Allen spokesman James Fisher.
