OS X 10.7.4 FileVault Security Issue Fixed

OS X 10.7.4 FileVault Security Issue Fixed

Mac users will be happy to hear that Apple has just launched its latest update to Mac OS X Lion today. If you can still remember our post a few days ago about the issue with the FileVault encryption program that, according to security researcher David Emry, allowed Mac passwords to be kept in plain text file, well, there's good news. That's because version 10.7.4 will be addressing that particular issue. The update also brings in a few fixes including the issue with the “Reopen windows when logging back in” setting that apparently is always enabled.
