Nokia Lumia 800 gets a firmware update, fixes volume bugs

The Nokia Lumia 800 has seen numerous firmware updates fixing its battery problems, backlight issues and various bugs. The latest patch, however, has brought up strange behavior volume behavior on the Finnish WP7 device. And to fix it, Nokia is releasing the 12072 firmware update, which addresses this issue. Furthermore, the update lets the camera automatically detect 50Hz and 60Hz flickering from electronic lights when flicker reduction is on. Power management behavior is improved as well, thanks to better charger recognition.

The 12072 update should be up for grabs, so check your Zune software update to get it.
