Back in December, LG announced that some of its smartphones would get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in 2012, mentioning that updates for the Optimus 2X should start rolling-out in the second quarter of 2012. Unfortunately for those who have the Optimus 2X, it looks like their update won't arrive that soon. According to LG Mobile Singapore, the "ICS upgrade will be available for the Optimus 2X in Q3 this year." That means anywhere between July and September.
