All right, I am not insinuating that the FCC is a hellish place for soon-to-come devices, but it was just a word play to inject some spice into an otherwise boring Monday morning (apart from the fact that Diablo 3 is going to keep plenty of people awake later tonight). The Huawei Ascend D1, first announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this February, has finally made its way to the FCC, picking up the collective's nod of approval in the process. This means the smartphone is being prepared for a general release real soon, assuming Huawei has gotten their marketing machine up and running just fine.
Ubergizmo, Huawei Ascend D1 descends to the FCC
