Sikh Coalition Introduces New “FlyRights” App – Allows Users To Easily Report TSA Discrimination

. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) doesn't exactly have the best reputation in the world (a quick search on YouTube will show you exactly what I mean). Well, the Sikh Coalition has just introduced “FlyRights,” an app recently introduced into the Google Play Store that offers travelers an easy way to report incidents of unfair treatment in our nation's airports. The app doesn't just focus on racial profiling either. Users can report various types of discrimination they feel they have been unfairly subjected to.

Apple co-founder and award-winning computer engineer Steve Wozniak is no doubt one of the most influential people in the tech industry. That means that whatever he says, or does, can actually mean big -  really big. So when “The Woz” said via his Twitter account that he was visiting AT&T for a Nokia Lumia 900 unit, everyone dug the story. Apparently Steve had a lot of nice things to say about the Lumia 900, the $99.99 Windows Phone from Nokia that's been selling like crazy.

Cadillac is trying to make a name for itself on the safety and technology front, recently introducing its new Safety Alert Seat and outfitting new models with a suite of safety equipment that arguably puts it among the leaders in the industry. We got a chance to sample some of this last month, but we were also allowed to "drive" a semi-autonomous SRX test mule equipped with what Cadillac is calling "Super Cruise.". Nominally an improvement on adaptive cruise control, Super Cruise is actually a more sophisticated system that uses a camera communicating with the car's GPS to "see" the road ahead.

Scientists Create Super Adhesive Inspired from Gecko Feet

A team of researchers from the University of Massachusetts Amherst have taken inspiration from a gecko climbing up a wall and subsequently created a super-strong adhesive material which is based closely on the feet of the wall-climbing lizard. Michael Bartless and his team from the university's science and engineering lab have been studying how geckos are able to run up and down smooth surfaces such as glass regardless of the angles at which the surfaces are at.

It certainly looks like more and more companies are hopping aboard the cloud storage bandwagon, and adding to that list is none other than Korean manufacturer LG. The company has recently announced the launch of its own cloud-based storage service dubbed LG Cloud and is expected to see a beta launch in both Korea and the US. The good news is that if you own an LG handset, you will be eligible for free 50GB worth of storage when you install the app on your phone. Unfortunately this offer will only last for the first six months, after which storage for LG owners will drop to 5GB while non-LG owners will only receive 2GB.

Images of the device first surfaced over at CrackBerry's forums and, as the site points out, the touchscreen candy bar seems to share its design DNA with the PlayBook. Keeping in mind that it's likely to remain a testing device for devs, don't bank on it ever hitting store shelves.

USC develops printable liquid solar cells for flexible, low-cost panels

Solar cells are becoming more viable sources of energy - and as they become more efficient, they're only getting smaller and cheaper to produce. Liquid nanocrystal cells are traditionally inefficient at converting sunlight into electricity, but by adding a synthetic ligand to help transmit currents, researchers at USC have improved their effectiveness. The advantage of these liquid solar cells. They're cheaper than single-crystal silicon wafer solutions, and they're also a shockingly minuscule four nanometers in size, meaning more than 250 billion could fit on the head of a pin.

That's a necessity since a longer version of the Adam's platform will go under the next Opel/Vauxhall Corsa.

It's time for today's "photo of the Samsung Galaxy S3" leak - these seem to occur more and more often as we come closer to May 3, when Samsung's Unpacked event will finally settle things one and for all. You can see the volume rocker on the left and the power/lock key on the right - basically, the standard Samsung arrangement.
The screen is off, so there's no way to tell if the device uses the on-screen buttons that we've seen in previous leaks. But it does look an awful lot like the sketch in the alleged leaked manual.

New wind turbine generates clean water and energy

Although the concept of obtaining clean water out of thin air is nothing new, most designs aren't efficient enough for a larger, commercial scale use. Hoping to remedy this shortcoming, Eolewater founder Marc Parent has designed an innovative wind turbine that can extract hundreds of gallons of clean, fresh water on a daily basis. After several years of prototypes and revisions, Parent's turbine was finally put to the test in October of last year. Set up in the dry desert air of Abu Dhabi, his wind turbine was able to reliably gather 130-200 gallons of fresh water every day.
