After having previously reached 50,000 apps in December and 60,000 in January, the Windows Phone Marketplace has now officially passed 70,000 apps. We say ‘officially' because this is the first time when the news comes direct from Microsoft. The number was made public during the big Windows Phone launch in China today by Simon Leung, Microsoft's Greater China head honcho. The average number of new apps added to the Marketplace every day is now 300.
