We've been receiving reports all day about the Nexus 4 16GB selling out in some of our reader's Google Play Stores, but thought it might have been a fluke. Sure enough, our page monitor updated us to its change in status, with our own listing in the Play Store now showing Google is “out of inventory”. We know how this typically plays out. Whenever an older device — especially one that was recently the subject of a clearance sale — disappears from the Google Play, it's likely never to return.
