To say EA and Maxis' SimCity had a rough time when it launched earlier this year would be a huge understatement, and it looks like its Mac release is also experiencing some issues as Maxis is announcing it'll miss its originally expected launch date of June 11, and will instead launch in August. Maxis made the announcement on its official website, explaining the reason for SimCity for Mac's delay. “We have made this tough decision because we do not believe it is ready for primetime yet,” said senior producer Kip Katsarelis in the announcement.
