Today, Facebook is announcing that it is integrating it's “Like” button into third-party apps. The social networking giant stressed that while its “Like” feature has been an integral part of the platform, mobile apps have not been able to integrate the functionality. Facebook said that its users can now use the new like action to implement their own like button for a more integrated experience with an app on the web and other mobile platforms. Facebook explains that whenever a person likes their friend's story via the new like action, a notification will be sent to that friend.
