Believe it or not, the Motorola Milestone 2 (which is the name under which the Droid 2 has been selling in Europe) is still running Android 2.2 Froyo, a version of Google's mobile operating system that hasn't been the latest since December of 2010. So naturally, those of you in Europe were probably happy when we told you that the update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the Milestone 2 would finally arrive in November. And Motorola is about to keep its promise, even if only just. See, the manufacturer took to Facebook earlier today to announce that the update will start rolling out across the continent sometime tomorrow.
