Where I live, it doesn't rain much, so you can get away running a bike without fenders, or mudguards. When it does rain here in my part of Spain, though, the heavens open and you can get a day or two of torrential storms. Most people would just stay in, but where's the fun in that. And that's where Full Windsor's Quickfix and FoldnFix fenders come in. Both of these are quick and easily mounted, and fold flat to fit in a bag. The FoldnFix attaches using cable ties, but the Quickfix is much more interesting.
The Quickfix is an origami-like fender which starts out flat and then folds to fit through the seat stays and stay stiff.
