While Nokia might have been the reigning king of mobile phones a few years ago, their position has since been usurped by manufacturers who got on board the smartphone bandwagon before Nokia did, leaving Nokia fighting for smartphone market share with Microsoft's Windows Phone platform. But will Nokia's efforts be for nothing. According to Keepskor founder and Forbes contributor Tristan Louis, he has predicted that 2013 will be the year that Nokia departs from the mobile scene and will probably sell their mobile assets to companies such as Huawei and Microsoft.
