Remember the a.d. Tramontana R. The canopied, tandem-seat oddity represented a bold choice in supercardom, a far brasher choice than something from Maranello or Sant'Agata Bolognese, say. The carbon fiber missile debuted back in 2009 and was powered by a V12 sourced from Mercedes-Benz. Available in various tunes, the powertrain was good for up to 760 horsepower – no small sum given that the larger-than-you-think coupe still weighed less than 2,800 pounds.
But now there's a new choice in the a.d. Tramontana stable, dubbed XTR.
