Protect yourself from Dropbox's recent security breach

Some weeks ago, a Dropbox employee's account was hacked into which led to improper access to user accounts of Dropbox members. Interestingly, however, the account names and passwords were not posted online, which made it difficult for Dropbox to confirm the security breach. On the 31st of July Dropbox posted a blog post which confirmed the breach, as well as posting useful information on steps they have taken to prevent them from happening again.
