Motorola Mobility has announced that it'll be giving the boot to 20 percent of its workforce in the coming months. In addition to the 4,000 layoffs, the company is also planning on closing a third of its 94 facilities and focusing on its hubs in Sunnyvale, California, Chicago and Beijing and scale back its presence in Asia and India.
