The Big Android BBQ has become a nice annual event for Android enthusiasts to meet up and have a good time. As someone who hasn’t had the chance to go the past couple of years, I get excited just looking at others’ pictures and reading about their experiences. Those of you who have been waiting for announcements regarding this year’s party will be happy to know that we now have a date to look forward to. The official Google+ account for the event has posted that all the fun will begin October 19th and will stretch all the way until October 21st.

Sophos: 1 in 5 Mac computers harbors malware

What's scarier: 1 out of 5 Mac computers in a group of 100,000 found to be infected with malware, or that Sophos can take a snapshot of all 100,000 without each user's knowledge. Even if the security firm is trying to access the overall health of Apple's platform, installed software secretly taking snapshots of the computer's current condition sounds a little creepy nonetheless. According to the latest report from Sophos, 100,000 Mac computers using the company's free anti-virus software were analyzed over a span of seven days.

T-Mobile Galaxy Note spotted in the wild

The Samsung Galaxy Note has its fair share of fans as well as detractors – the thing is, it really treads on the fine line where a tablet and a smartphone converges, but so far, one cannot call it a failure. We do know that the T-Mobile Galaxy Note is already on its way, but here we are with the very first images of the Galaxy Note spotted in the wild, complete with the T-Mobile branding to boot. It seems that there are also other images out there which show off a bunch of (some call it bloatware) T-Mobile apps, including T-Mobile Name ID, T-Mobile Mall, T-Mobile TV and My T-Mobile.

BMW i8, now in Lego

Is there a limit to what you can build with Lego. Not really, as a lot of it depends on the amount of creativity that you have, not to mention whether you have sufficient Lego bricks to complete your project, of course. Well, the BMW Group has teamed up with Lego to recreate a full size replica of the new BMW i8 hybrid sports coupe concept, where it was on display at Munich, Germany recently. This is because BMW is one of the main sponsors of this year's Lego Kids Fest, so why not come up with a life size replica of one of BMW's hottest concepts to date.
